April 19, 2015 during a visit by the Most Reverend Nikon, Bishop of Ishim and Siberia, to the parish in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, at the service was tonsured a reader, then ordained a sub-deacon, and then ordained a deacon, James Iakovlevich Girik. His Grace Nikon was concelebrated by the rector Archpriest Gennady Subbotin and Priest John Belinsky. I.I.Girik was born in 1965, and  is a  parishioner of the church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul,  in  the Oktyabrskoe, Kostanay district and region. He is married and has two adult children, and is  musically educated.
