Yes, indeed!.......HOW VERY VERY TRUE!  "By their fruits shall ye know them!"- this strong Gospel admonition and dire danger warning from Our Lord,
is one which warning covers, everyone, without exception, but which is most applicable to those who are false shepherds, wolves in sheep's clothing,
confused schismatics,  ignorant and de-facto heretics, disobedient to their lawful and Orthodox bishops, and soul and church killers, and who divide  the faithful....who exhibit false-virtue.
Is such activity creating, 'unity'??? What a sad joke!
What Andronik Kotlaroff, with Stefan Sabelnik, and aided by Andre Erastov and Sofrony Musienko are founding, is but one more anti-Orthodox SECT, yes but,  'Orthodox-ish' in outward rituals, clerical titles, & formal appearance, but still a just a SECT, contrary to any and all Orthodox normal church order and canons.
The Stalin founded Moscow Patriarchy is one  other big example of the same grace-less type of organization, which pretends to be The Orthodox Church.
The 2000 plus years of Church history is full of such types, and most of those who have lead such church destructions,
have been renegade self-deluded ordained clergy, deposed  former disobedient arrogant unrepentant bishops most prominently. Power and money and the praise of men, VAINGLORY! that is what actually motivates them. Though they usually claim that they are heroically and righteously struggling to: purify and reform the corrupted church, to make it ...'better', to get rid of corrupt and evil leadership/'bad bishops',  and to install THEMSELVES as better leaders.
That self-aggrandizing goal they label, as 'progress'.
Here, those guilty themselves, of exactly this Christ condemned evil-doing, DISSEMBLING, attempt to accuse those whom they have wrongly left and have viciously slandered, of being under this biblical condemnation.
Amazing!
"If the shoe fits, put it on!"...is a wise old saying which fits them.

Patronal Feast at the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Trenton, New Jersey

A Celebration of Spiritual Unity
Our Lord and God Jesus Christ pointed out a faithful sign by which we can evaluate the events and phenomena of our life: “By their fruits shall ye know them.” (Mt. 7:16). Two hierarchs of the ROCA, Bishop Stefan of Trenton and North America and Archbishop Andronik of Syracuse and St. Nicholas, concelebrated the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos in the Assumption Church of Trenton. The joy of the Great Feast and the Patronal Feast, the solemn worship service, the deep consolation from joint prayer and fraternal fellowship -- all this created a unique spiritual atmosphere of unity in Christ. The fruits of this welcome event were felt in the hearts and seen in the faces of all the participants of that holy day. Bishops Stefan and Andronik were joined by Hieromonk Ignatiy (Krutkov) and Hierodeacon Paul (Lipin). At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a short molieben to the Theotokos was celebrated, after which Archbishop Andronik, as a sign of spiritual support and brotherly love, presented Vladyka Stefan with an icon of the Theotokos brought from Romania. To which Vladyka responded with gratitude and offered a heartfelt homily about the protection of the Mother of God, and also spoke of the hierarchs of the Church Abroad, who once served in that church.
One can speak a long time figuratively of the taste of honey, but we can sense the aroma and enjoy its effect only after having tried it. So too in the life of the church; we can speak much of a desired unity, but only through the practical steps which lead to a joint Eucharist, do we understand fully the words of the psalmist, “Behold now, what is so good or so joyous, as for brethren to dwell together in unity.” (Psalm 132:1) Having experienced the abundant reward and joyous consolation from the jointly celebrated feast, the soul is filled with the hope that our unity will grow stronger, despite the inevitable difficulties of human weaknesses and the forces arrayed against the church. The process of unification will persuade inevitably other parts of the once united ROCA to come together.

My brief comment on the very complicated and tortured history of Orthodoxy on Polish territory and under Polish rule:

The current Polish Orthodox Church was originally founded by Constantinople and it was under their rule, but later,
when the Red Army-Soviets 'liberated' -took total control of Poland, they were forced [i.e. they had no way to say no] to be put under the Moscow Patriarchate, with some sort of their supposed, 'autonomy', etc.
That is their unchosen top-level ecclesiastical government situation today.
Those in this Polish Orthodox Church, practice their faith, regardless of what jurisdiction their hierarchs are 'under'. Certainly, many of them, the simple believers, cannot approve of the Moscow Patriarchate!.. or of Vladimir Putin!
And as to the current ethnic-demographic-  human make-up of the actual lay and clergy membership of this Polish Orthodox Church, that too is complicated.
Some percent are ethnic Poles, [what percent is not clear], some ethnic Orthodox or Catholic Poles are, naturally,  intermarried with some non-Poles,  but apparently the vast majority of Orthodox people in Poland, are: Rusins/'Ruthenians',  (Carpatho-Russians), and many!-self-labeled, Ukrainians, some newer Great-Russian immigrants, -plus a mix of other traditional Orthodox nationalities, including some Greeks and Romanians, and Bulgarians, but  many Poland-native-born descendants of those historically-born-Orthodox people, which when, in past grim centuries,  powerful and aggressive Catholic Poland was a long-time major persecutor of Orthodox Slavs, with also, the Catholic Austrian Hapsburg's heavy-handed tyrannical rule, ...those who remained Orthodox-it is their HERITAGE,  have suffered much for their beloved Orthodox faith over  past ages. WHICH is why the current Orthodox descendants, on Polish territory, are so pious and so very fervent in their personal practice of their faith! All Roman Catholic rulers, under orders from their Popes in Rome, tried to force, Uniatism ['Byzantine Rite -Catholicism'] on Orthodox Slavs, Serbs included, with much heavy taxations, and violence and bloodshed. The Hapsburgs actually crucified on wooden crosses, or shot in front of firing squads,  large numbers of Orthodox Christians who would not convert and become  Roman Catholics! Catholic Poland and Catholic Hungary were not much better.
Formerly fanatical-Catholic-Poland, [the sole officially  Catholic nation which ITSELF as a nation, was at one time, 'Gifted  in perpetuity as the private property of The Pope',...all future Popes!] when it was an arrogant and a  powerful military power in eastern Europe,& when it  was among the most intolerant of all Catholic nations against the Orthodox, [also the biggest hater of the Russian Orthodox Czar and Orthodox Russia],  and frequently were invading the Ukraine and other Orthodox lands, under  the pious Papist excuse of 'bringing the 'schismatic, 'Greeks' [all Orthodox]  back under submission to the Pope', etc.!
HOWEVER,  "Man proposes, but GOD disposes!"
And, 'LIFE EQUALS CHANGE!'
Now, on post-World War II, Polish territory, there are by obvious & unavoidable necessity, an estimated approximately 1-2 million or more, openly-Orthodox people, and they have complete freedom of worship, guaranteed in the Polish Constitution, ...and with their own important  political clout in the Polish government. Many are Polish citizens.
Thus too, traditionally-Catholic Poland is obliged,  to give shelter on its territory, to many new refugees, most of them native-Orthodox Christians in religion,  many newcomers who are recently fleeing  from Putin's unjustified and bloody war on near-by Ukraine. In western-Ukraine, there is also, a sizable remnant of ethnic mostly Roman-Rite Catholic Poles, left from the past very complicated history of Ukraine.
Ironically, among these new non-ethnic-Poles, fresh refugees, are a sizable number of middle-aged  Russians and young Russian boys & men, [so-called, 'draft-dodgers']  born in the Russian Federation, who do not want to be a part of Putin's war machine, and who do not believe in or support his evil  war against brotherly Ukraine. MANY  other Russians too, of all ages, do not support what Putin is doing to Ukraine!...but they have no voice in Putin's dictatorship....except for those able to FLEE the Russian Federation. Many who have the money to leave Russia and who are able to, are fleeing...... and a sizable number to nearby convenient .....anti-Putin Poland!
Liturgically, it appears that in the worship of the Polish Orthodox Church, the Polish language is in use, more in certain cities, however, mostly Church Slavonic is in  greater general use, or both languages are mixed together. Sermons, and activity announcements, appear to be often given in Polish. Each parish is different, depending on its ethnic/linguistic make-up.

With great splendor and with the participation of a huge number of people, the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God was held in Piraeus, Greece (Greek GOC)

The celebration was led by Metropolitan Geronty of Piraeus and Salamis, and  on the eve of the Feast he was supported by Metropolitan Chrysostom of Attica and Boeotia. (Все фото здесь) (All photos here)

The Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Aharne (Attica, Greek GOC) also celebrated the Dormition Feast.

Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Attic headed the Divine Liturgy, to which many faithful came to glorify the Mother of God, to partake of the Most Pure Mysteries and to venerate the shroud of the Most Holy Theotokos
.

Despite the fact that some want to destroy Orthodoxy in the country of Greece, and convince people that Orthodoxy is no longer here, we know that all this will pass and an end will come to the anti-Christian forces of evil.

In any village and any city where you may come to, you will find the miraculous icons of the Mother of God.

It is really absurd that there are people who today dare to say that here in Greece there are 'only Greeks', and not... Orthodox people.

This was emphasized by Metropolitan Chrysostom in his celebratory sermon..
