Надежда – это то, что придаёт человеку жизненные силы и наполняет его жизнь смыслом.   Hope - this is what gives a person his life-force and which fills his life with meaning. Без надежды человек жить не может. Without hope, a person cannot live. Родившийся Господь и есть та единственная надежда, которая нужна нам для того, чтобы мы жили. The new born Lord is the only hope that we need, for us to truly live. Порой нам кажется, что окружающий мир совершенен и прекрасен, но, когда открывается присутствующая в мире злая воля, иллюзия заканчивается и тот же мир предстаёт нам как подобие ада. Sometimes it seems to us that the world around us is perfect and beautiful, but when the evil-will which is present in the world, opens in front of us, that illusion ends, and that same world appears to us similar to  a likeness of hell. Священное Писание учит, что мир наш несовершенен. The Holy Scriptures teaches us, that our earthly world is imperfect. Душа человеческая чем дальше, тем больше становится лишней и ненужной, она не успевает вслед научно-техническому прогрессу, и мир, с зарождающимся в нём искусственным интеллектом, вот-вот начнёт жить своей, независимой от людей, искусственной интеллектуальной жизнью. The human soul, the further it is [from God], the more it becomes useless  and unnecessary. It  does not succeed in improving itself, by following scientific and technical progress, and the world, with the artificial intellect that is born from it, is just about to start living, in us,  its own intellectual,  independent of people, artificial life.   Ум человеческий всё более изощряется, а душа становится всё более отчуждённой и одинокой. The human mind becomes more and more sophisticated, and the soul becomes more and more alienated and lonely. С экранов телевизоров и компьютеров всем предлагается окунуться в вакханалию игр и развлечений – спортивных, эстрадных или псевдорелигиозных и найти успокоение в имитации действительности. From the screens of TVs and computers, everyone is invited to plunge into the bacchanalia of games and entertainment - sports, varieties of pseudo-religious programs, and find peace in an imitation  of reality. Но это не решает и не может решить проблему человеческой души. But this empty pursuit does not solve, and indeed can not solve, the problems of the human soul. Духовный мир погибает. The spiritual world, in us, is thus dying. Душа не может жить без Христа. But the soul cannot live outside of Christ.   Господь нас зовёт в иной мир, где не будет злой воли. The Lord calls us to another world, where there will be no evil will. Мир, в котором мы изменимся, и от которого будет отнято всякое зло. That  other-world, in which we will change, and from which all evil will be taken away. Хоть это кажется многим невероятным, но этот мир существует, и он назван в Священном Писании Небесным Царством.   Although this seems incredible to many, but this other-world exists, and it is called in the Holy Scripture, the Heavenly Kingdom.
